|
Dear Resident, Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a robbery in Bishop’s Stortford. At 1:30pm on Saturday 22 November, two men approached a delivery driver who was parked in a white Ford Transit outside Spar on Dunmow Road. They proceeded to forcibly take a bag of parcels off him before leaving the area. Detective Constable Sarah Skene, from the East Herts Criminal Investigation Department, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward. “We understand that several vehicles passed the area at the time of the incident, and I am urging anyone who may have captured any dash cam footage to get in touch. This can be uploaded at herts.police.uk/dashcamupload and I can be emailed directly via Sarah.Skene@herts.police.uk.” You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/111080/25. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
